Philippine police have rescued six
victims of human trafficking from a karaoke bar in Zamboanga del Sur. All
victims were female, and five of them were under 18. The police added that the
victims were recruited to the bar without the knowledge of their parents and
they have since been returned to their families. The owners of the karaoke bar
are now under police investigation.
